General terms and conditions (simple and single version)
The general terms and conditions of Potteryshop.nl
Incorrect terms and conditions can cause a lot of problems. We don't want any problems, we want to create beautiful and fun ceramic products that make people happy! Terms and conditions are often long, difficult or incomprehensible. We certainly don't want to be that. That's why we keep it short and simple. And if you still have questions or doubts after the explanation below, feel free to send a message.
Well, here it comes:
1. The productThere are roughly 2 flavors:a) we make things out of clay that we like to make, andb) we make things out of clay that other people cannot -or do not want to- make but would like to own.
Whatever your taste, you are a person who wants to buy a product from us because you like it, you want to use it, just look at it or maybe give it as a gift. You decide whether the price of the product is in good balance with your expectations. If not, you leave it.
2. Our processHoppa! A lovely piece of clay (Earth and Water) is kneaded/turned into a shape by human hands and given its own name. Through Fire and Air the shape (or she we call for example 'Vase') is transformed into a durable object. It is then up to us, the ceramists, to give her the shine and beauty she deserves. Through "precious" metals (glazes) and the mystery of Fire you will fall in love with her, give her a look of appreciation or leave her for what she is: Ceramics from De Ooyse Kleischuur.
3. The transferDo you find her beautiful? (we assume the feminine in 'Beauty', hence)Have you fallen (slightly) in love? Then you have 2 options:a) You take the trouble to pick her up personally. If it turns out that she disappoints you in 'real life', you can still decide on the spot to cancel the purchase.b) You have her delivered. In that case, she is and remains yours! In other words, you cannot just send her back because she "disappoints in real life".
Building on Trust; a personal word regarding delivery (3b)Ceramics are hard and can withstand a knock. We also ensure that your new purchase is well packaged and protected from the harsh outside world. We have confidence that products such as mugs, decorations, smaller bowls, vases and plates will be delivered undamaged.
However, if you receive a package and the packaging is in such a bad condition, refuse the shipment or at least check the contents in the presence of the carrier. It can then be returned without further ado.
However, some objects can be more sensitive to 'transport problems' due to shape and fragility. In that case, there is also the option to send the package with an insurance service:
Insured up to the cost of the work/objects in case of loss or damage
Signature for receipt
Track your shipment online with Track & Trace
4. FinallyIf something did not go as planned, we would like to hear about it. After all, just like you, we do not want to make a drama out of anything and we will work it out together.
Kind regards from Ans and Jan, Créateur Céramique
